For our last hurrah of the summer we headed over the mountains to Spokane for the weekend...
We left late Thursday night after grabbing Meg from the airport and surprised mom and dad with an 11:30pm arrival...They didn't have a clue! Griff was spoiled with some great Bullpup gear for the weekend...

We had a wonderful weekend with family, and it was even extra special that Megs was home...we are excited for our big 3rd Grader, but this quite possibly will go down as one of our best summers yet...There was never a dull moment, and we made sure to spend quality time with Griff when he was home...I can honestly say that we didn't waste a second of our summer with him, and both Nick and I feel so blessed to have the memories we do from this summer...with family and friends, and most importantly with the 3 of us (well 3 1/2 including Scoot:))...Griff's backpack is packed, his school supplies are ready, and his school clothes are stinking adorable, but most excitingly, he has worked so hard at home with us on his reading and math, and I'm confident that he is ready for all that 3rd Grade will bring!
